Really? I felt that there is a definite similar demographic. I steamed through the 31 chapters and what I got was:

>UFE <=> the Imperial Japanese Army or whatever

And as of 31/30 they appear to be taking down the nobles one by one, essentially, though there's less monster of the week.

But their relationship isn't anything like Slaine's and Inaho's. They're childhood friends who are obsessed with rescuing each other. There's no girl between them. They're on opposite sides of the conflict, but they consider each other family and are each other's prime motivations. It's really not anything like AZ.
Also, I don't think cool outfits/weapons/superpowers is really worth mentioning as a similarity when that shit applies to 90% of anime.

It's Viz so we're relying on dumpers for translations. Mangafox got ahold of the link, though, so I'm frightened that the dumper will get into legal trouble and stop posting them, which is difficult because our original scanlator was notoriously unreliable.

And I say that because this series is pushing the whole befriend every thing that moves angle, the only flaw of It I currently dislike at the moment is, although we have an idea on whats going on in the MCs mind as well as him and his bff motivations. We still have no idea whats going on in the actual setting because its implying someone other than just the vampires are evil.
