I'm tired of these fake-wannabe criminal delinquents.

Is there a show/manga about Highschoolers running an drug running operational or otherwise criminal organization?
>>
I'm tired of these fake-wannebe anime experts.

No, there is not an anime about highschoolers running a drug cartel. Go back to >>>/tv/ and your Breaking Bad.
You will not get that sort of thing in anime.
>>
>>122903974
Look, I'll even take that a "we suck you in with a unique premise and then it turns to the same shit you've seen a million times" treatment.

I just want an MC who lies, cusses, steals, murders and takes care of her fellow gang-members. Why does every MC of a series have to be a paragon of virtue?
>>
>>122904280
>Why does every MC of a series have to be a paragon of virtue?
Because of the law.
You see, if you actually lurked more on /a/, you'd know that for anime it is illegal to encourage kids to do bad things.
They have to black out minors smoking.
>>
>My shitty country is filled with stoners and whores, so every country should!

Take it to MAL.

They could make it but it would have to be something like
External entity takes over japan and makes a bunch of stupid laws like "All bento boxes are outlawed" and it is about a group of kids sneaking in bento or something.
>>
just read Holyland and stop whining
>>
>>122904407
This basically. If you want to see high school delinquents doing actual illegal shit VNs are full of those.
>>
>>122905604

This. Holyland is probably the closest you'll get, and it's a great series worth a read anyway.

Japan won't let you show anything related to drugs or criminal activities unless it's the antagonist doing it, and even then it's heavily censored. Holyland got away with it more than any other series I've read.

Gantz has some pot smoking, but I don't think that's what OP was really looking for

Well, all of the bad guys in every single delinquent manga are always doing that shit, but nah you probably won't find any, and if you do its gonna be shit most likely because chance of making a serious drama out of highschool delinquent kids is very slimy and you wouldn't be able to take it seriously.

At least Be-Bop Highschool talks about sex, has constant swearing, underage drinking and shit like that unlike most other delinquent stuff.

Nah its not a shitty fan service manga or shit like that, it's just very crude and I'd say pretty realistic with the way a normal highschool dude would talk, especially being a delinquent and whatnot.
>>
>I can't tell something is serious unless it's people doing edgy things
>I think reading wannabe-hard things written by limpwristed faggots who have never set foot in a bad neighborhood makes me cool
>I care very much about how people view what I enjoy, and as such can only enjoy things if they seem very mature and gritty
Also the Japanese, while still having a drug trade, are very not open about it. Shows about it are strongly discouraged and any depiction of criminal activities in a positive light is practically not allowed unless it's light-hearted or has a very small distribution. But rest assured, things don't have to be gritty and drug-filled to be enjoyable unless you're a faggot.
>>
>>122913387
Drugs for the sake of being edgy are shit, but also if you can't include them you're restricting the possibilities and vision of the author, some of the best mafia movies are centered in drug trading.
That's why I prefer manga over anime, the are some magazines that let you do things like that while with anime you can't show shit because of tv airing.
>>
>>122912821
things like minors drinking are forbidden. That is why they are "drunk on the atmosphere" or pretending to be drunk if they want to show minors drinking.
>>
>>122913660
The fact you can't do exactly what you want sucks, but 90% of the time you can replace "drug trade" with something illegal that still gels with the show and it'll turn out alright, since typically the drama comes from the money coming from the illegal activity, not the illegal activity itself. The exception is something like BrBa, where the magical super-meth being super addictive is imperative to the story.
>>
>>122913806
murder is also forbidden but they show kids murdering each other

Higurashi,Mirai Nikki,Gantz,Elfen Laid,Berserk just from the top of my head.

okay
>It's promoting it.
This is EXTREMELY open to interpretation and you know it,i can use logical reasoning to say that some show isn't promoting illegal activities even if it's a lie and the contrary also applies.
>>
>>122915680
>>make claim that sounds highly unlikely
Yeah, that was why I talked about lurking. It was all over /a/ back when it was fresh. It still pops up every once in a while in discussions like this one. It is also the explanation why we don't have anime like OP requested, which makes it, as you say highly unlikely.

As for the reason why I'm not posting it? I just tried to find it in my cache, but didn't get lucky. I don't feel like putting in extra research work when I'm going to bed in a few minutes anyway. If you don't believe me, it's your choice really.
>>
>>122915804
>This is EXTREMELY open to interpretation and you know it
Yes. There were lots of complaints about that. Nobody really knows what it means. It's like Japan's obscenity laws in that way, where theoretically everything is forbidden but in reality you won't get into trouble if you add a few thin black lines.
>>
>>122915545
>It's promoting it.

Yeah, because most edgy manga don't make murder look cool, and making it look cool isn't promoting.
>>
>>122915545
>google
This is the dumbest response.
You didn't even specify what we're supposed to search for.
The 'youth protection act' only seems to forbid the depiction of characters below the age of 18 having sex, and I'm not even sure it's in effect.
>>
>>122915934
That's why I'm not doing the research either. I don't care to search for something the name of which I don't remember.

The "blacking out Jotaro smoking a cigarette" from the anime adaptation got me thinking.

There's shit anime can't show minors doing. like smoking beer or drinking cigarettes.

But what about if they made a surrogate seemingly benign substance, but everybody that took it reacted like it was heroin.

Like some dude in the cooking club mixes together orange juice, milk, sugar, powdered egg whites and vanilla extract in response to some fancy ass Maccha cocktail some punk from the school across town is making.

And this shit's addicting. It's basically an LSD trip for anyone that drinks it.

So this guy in the cooking club rounds up a crew and they start pushing their orange product and having turf wars with the guys and their iced green tea.

Wealth montages like Scarface, guys arriving at school on Italian superscooters with idols on each arm.

Some chapters'll show the lengths people go to for the orange juice concoction.

It's not technically a drug, no rules broken, right?
>>
>>122903819
>I'm tired of these fake-wannabe criminal delinquents.

Read Angel Densetsu. The MC rules his school through violence and fear and murders several rivals throughout the course of the manga.
>>
>>122915887
I'm going to search and read more about that because that sound like a huge amount of bullshit to me,even if what you say is true it doesn't make any sense considering what we see in manga and anime.Well it can make a little bit of sense but it's still very frustrating to think about it because of the ambiguous nature of this supposed law.

You are correct, the only reason Jotaro can't be seen smoking is because it has been established that he is 16. You might recall that Oingo was seen smoking.

Like i've imagined the only laws that forbid the perpetuation/promotion of something in anime are relative to sexual acts,at least that's what i could find in my brief search,i'm going to quote here:

>1) Tokyo will have the authority to suggest how minors have access to information through their cell phone based on the user’s age, to in order to make such changes, the Governor (or his office) has to heed advise from cell phone service industry people, parental guardians of minors, those with background in education, and etc.

>2) Tokyo’s definition of how it deems publicly available material as harmful to minors will be changed.
>– Previously, “Any material that may be detrimental toward the healthy development of youth because of their capacity to be sexually stimulating, encourages cruelty, and/or may compel suicide or criminal behavior.” was the criteria.
>– Now the criteria will be expanded to include: “Any manga, animation, or pictures (but not including real life pictures or footage) that features either sexual or pseudo sexual acts that would be illegal in real life, or sexual or pseudo sexual acts between close relatives whose marriage would be illegal*, where such depictions and / or presentations unjustifiably glorify or exaggerate the activity.”
>– Any material that is excessively breaches this standard can be deemed to be “harmful material” by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government unilaterally and thereby restrict their circulation from all minors (0-17 of age).
>>
>>122917444
Yeah, going by >>122916894 and his indirect sources it seems that the internet at the time blew up what little information they had until it looked like a monster of a law.
>>
>>122917444
>power to restrict any manga, anime and video games (but not live photography works) that feature any sexual acts that would violate criminal codes or Tokyo ordinances OR sexual depictions between close relatives who could not legally get married to be treated as adult material IF they are presented in “unjustifiably glorified or exaggerated manner.”
>>
>>122917562
Seems like a average day in the internet anon, people blow everything out of proportions here and with time it become difficult to know what's legitimate information and what's genuinely bullshit.
That's why we should always look things for ourselves instead of instantly believing in everything we hear/read,i'm going to search more for this topic anyway
>>
>>122917444
They're trying REALLY hard to promote healthy sexual relations but they're just digging themselves into a deeper hole.
