So, what to expect from this? The staff seems good outside the noob director, I glanced to the original and it looks really fun but it now there are some random changes like how Urobuchi's character is suddenly a woman. What is this about?
I'm pretty hyped. My only real beef about it is the literally who director and the fact that SL is going full ham during with three shows airing and the possibility of airing four.

Lou Zhenhua, previously Lou Zhenjie (Player: Gen Urobuchi) is a warrior monk that comes from the Eight Claw Clan, a religious sect in Huanglan, one of the world's two great powers opposite to D'natia. She is mesmerized by her soul eating demonic sword, Qisha Tianling, who she refers to as "your Highness" (man Lou called the sword "Princess" so maybe the sword got genderbent too). Her well-known reputation for killing any and all targets has earned Lou an ominious reputation in the underworld. She only measures a persons worth by whether they "can be killed or not," and uses her unique ability to keenly observe subjects even in her peripheral vision to calculate the perfect time to strike.

Let's see.At the final battle, Swallow and Meryll are mesmerized by Qisha Tianling. Swallow uses his Dark Communion to absorb all Meryll's Mana and make her uncouncious so Kaguraba can take her to safety.
Lou and Swallow fight, Nasu decides to target Qisha Tianling, the FM says him he can't do it because being mesmerized means that he wants the sword, but Nasu arguments that for Swallow owning and destroying is the same due to his curse. Everyone agrees, he breaks the sword with a slash and without even thinking about it, Lou pierces his own face with the remnants of the crumbling sword and dies.
