Are there any anime or manga which feature interracial relationships or couples?
I don't mean Japanese protagonist falls for beautiful blond(e) aryan god(dess) because that fantasy is too common. I mean one where the Japanese/white character becomes involved with a person of a darker persuasion.
If that's too difficult to find, then to respect Japanese racial dynamics I will accept examples of Japanese protagonists getting involved with Koreans, Chinese, Ryukyuans or Ainu.
The only example I can think of is Berserk. Though it's a fantasy story, Casca is Kushan which would make her the equivalent of an Indian or Middle Easterner.
In Samurai Champloo, Mugen was Ryukyuan which shocked and disgusted much of the cast. He never got an official love interest but that ninja chick was obviously in love with him.

Infinite Stratos includes a Chinese girl in the harem; although nearly no one expects her to win, that may count due to the animosity between them. There are probably some other harem anime or manga that have non Japanese or Europeans or alien/robot/whatever members, but I wouldn't count them unless they actually win or have a reasonable expectation of winning.
