Relistened to Hakobune Kyuukeishitsu since the somewhat recent "non-anime music" thread made me post some Natsu no Arashi stuff on it.
Yasumoto's story about his arranged marriage meeting on a sight-seeing boat still made me laugh. Also, Omigawa's sudden change from his "normal" speaking voice to Jun felt extremely surreal, every single time.

Old women doing young boy roles is extremely rare outside (reprising old roles) in the current industry. The only recent major one I can think of is Tanaka Mayumi as Luffy, which was a special request from the Oda (and happened over 15 years ago when she was still in her 40's).
Today the pool of seiyuu is so fucking huge that you can even find male seiyuu specialized in young boy roles.
