Horizon tomes cost twice as much as regular LNs since they're huge.
And the number has always been floating around 30k since the start because the fanbase is very dedicated and there's little to no chance of them dropping the series unless Kawakami dies.

>Emi's doing that to deliberately make her mother uncomfortable (the eye in the upper part of that page is her looking at the reaction of her mother). She also makes the discovery that when she acts this intimate with Mao he gets quite bewildered, causing her to think "Crap, this is actually pretty funny♥". To add to the fun her mother is indeed uncomfortable at this sight (it's strange for her to see her own daughter and Mao, who was kind of like an adoptive child to her get this close) and with her child (I guess Alas Ramus) happy at this development it's a total win for her. So Emi frequently acts this intimate with Mao. Like grabbing a bit of food and going "Ahh~♥", or hugging Mao's arm. Also, at the beginning both of them have the same shift times. But Mao doesn't want to go to work together with Emi and hides in the bathroom. So Emi at the door goes "Then I'm going ahead, Sadao-senpai♥", nearly causing Mao to fall into the toilet.
>Suzuno and Emi's father know she's only playing around, but they don't mind. Seeing that happy Emi they think it's a natural happy state for an 18-year old girl. When Emi was 12 her home got destroyed. Then until 17 she had to fight against the demons and in that year since she was busy with working as an office lady, having to look after a daughter, observing Mao and fight against the angels. So in effect her years from 12-18 were kind of wasted. So both Suzuno and Emi's father think it's a way of making up for those lost years. Chiho (´,_ゝ`) however goes: "But to me it looks more like an 18-year old girl in love." To which Suzuno and Emi's father reply: "You, you probably are overthinking this... (a bit worried)"

That was fake?

Yes but the pic is true obviously.

This scene happens after Emi overheard Maou talks with Gabriel being manly as fuck, since Layla (Emi's mother) and Gabriel want to have Maou and Emi save the world but both refuse and Maou makes an awesome speech about Emi who was forced to fight since she was a child just because she was strong and how the whole "with great powers come great responsibilities" is bullshit.
(Before that both Emi and Layla were attacked and Maou impulsively went to save Emi and ended up saving Layla's life)

So when Maou comes back home he finds Emi waiting for him and she ends up hugging him longly.
Since she overheard them she knows Maou genuinely thought what he said and basically goes pretty sweet on him, the scene ends with Emi who says that since she was a kid she never had someone who could protect her because she was always the strongest and now no one, not even her father, can play that role for her.
No one except for Maou who always is here to protect her so she asks if he could always protect her.

But Maou refuses saying the Emi he came to respect and who he wanted to make one of his general is the strong-willed hero Emilia.
To show her weak side sometime is alright but if she was always like this she wouldn't be the hero Emilia anymore

Emi agrees and compares the way she acts currently to a computer who can't run properly.
And Maou says that the hug must be a "fatal error" then.
Emi breaks the hug and for the first time show a true smile directed to Maou.

That's how the scene go, Emi continues being in "fatal error" mode up to the end and especially the epilogue who show the entire cast in Maou's castle for diner with Emi who sit next to Maou being pretty damn clingy while everyone, except for Aras-Ramus who is really happy, being pretty surprised by it (Chiho starts going yandere and scares the fuck out of Layla) was a pretty great scene

The first half of vol12 had a lot of Suzuno and she goes pretty dere too

What we're seriously going to have shitposting threads about sales for books most people have probably never even heard of? Well come to think of it that's hardly different from shitposting over anime disc sales for shows that most people have probably never even watched. I still maintain that the best thing about any light novel series is generally the artwork and character designs. The artists can be pretty damn good at drawing some aesthetically pleasing stuff. Other than that the writing usually is what it is.

It having 11 volumes is something good enough when there are titles that barely make past the 3rd.

Wasn't the manga meant to be like a prolog to the LN? Anyway translation never.

>Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru no Darou ka
>Log Horizon
>Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru.

Despite the semi shit taste of that chart, I'm glad there are some people who enjoy LNs deserving some love.
>>
>>121534311
SAO has 2x has many LNs has Haruhi. Haruhi is the undisputed king or (queen) when it comes to copies sold per volume which is usually in the 700k range. That shit sells more than Biblia. If Tanigawa wrote at a constant pace it would've hit 20 million ages ago.

People tend to forget the plethora of mecha flops last decade especially in 2007

Stalker thread! Also Kagerou actually doing good. Also it seems people are enjoying that part-timer devil.

Where have you been? Many people like Hataraku since 2013

I always knew that whenever Emilia would go dere, she would go dere hard.
Volume 11 made it rather clear things would eventually lead to this.

I especially enjoyed how Maou told her not to become some frail girl, but to remain the strong hero she was (Emi pretty much lost all confidence in volume 10 after being unable to save anyone, in addition to being reunited with her father - whose apparent death was the main reason why she took up the role of the hero).

Hopefully, Emilia will find a way to reconcile both sides of her, and be able to make Maou drop the tsun as hell.

So, what would be the "profitable line" for an LN? From the looks of it, 200,000 seems to be the sales line that marks a series' popularity.
