According to him, 4/5ths of the series are "pretty serious", and with plenty of action.
-Yoneyama Mai, Saitou Kengo confirmed for working primarily on Punchline at the moment. Rumor has it the same is true for most of TRIGGER's and Khara's young animators (Iseki, Handa, Mimiya, etc)

Honestly, the main reason I'm interested in this is because original anime are almost always the most entertaining to watch while airing, and despite being a big season, Spring is really lacking in that area (this, Plastic Memories, the Subaru mahou shoujo, and that's basically it). Plus I have no idea where they're trying to go with this.
