I was actually tricked when I read the volume. I thought the time skip was real and was pleased with it. Hottori a cute detective, Kon as her assistant, Tatsuno getting fat, Sanada balding like his father. It was a great chapter.

It was obvious it was just some shenanigans again since it said something like "Shizuka-neechan has debuted as a novelist" - because while Hotori didn't know it, Shizuka already was a novelist for quite some time in the regular timeline, so there's no way she would make her debut again.
But at least the manga is pushing Hotori and Kon together really hard, and that makes me really happy.

If Mirai Nikki would have ended here it would have been a somewhat ok ending, but the breaking the spacetime continuum shit just for the sake of a happy ending really brought it down.

And there are a lot more. I think the problem is that most endings are rushed or the manga is axed, so the author has to end everything with an ass pull or with out a proper explanation.
