That Black clover first chapter was a disgrace. It was pretty fucking mediocre. Pretty bad for a WSJ series. It's gonna get axed pretty soon. It felt like an accumulation of cliché, with little to no characterization of anything, resolved every plot points and could pretty much end here. It has no hooks, an uninteresting world, two main characters who have already resolved their rivalry etc. It's pretty fucking bad.
