I don't want to start anything so I won't throw insult or anything but I just can't comprehend how people like the manga if it has a complete different tone with characters that almost don't resemble their original counterpart. I always assumed that if someone likes the manga then he doesn't like the source material at all.

Really hated that about the NHK anime. After reading the manga and LN it just feels like a bad comedy series.
