I baked a cake for the first time. I tried a bit to copy the cake in the picture, though I didn't make a second layer since it gets quite fragile and would require a lot more ingredients too. I'm going to get an electric mixer next time, as beating egg whites by hand was quite difficult. I also made an omurice. It took a few tries to get one that flipped without breaking. It was a lovely day and it was fun to cook some cute foods.
