I've heard, long ago when the translation pace was still steady, it's something along the line of that they found 'Gaku' (as in the one who had understand the theory of everything) and needs her ability to further research about it.
It's probably from the LN because it's not explained in the manga and I can't find it in the archives anymore. But considering from the letter she said that her ability was probably because of Gaku looking after her, it's possible that this is correct.
