What are your favorites that fall within this category?
I find it kind of sad that shows from different decades really do give off a different 'feel' and that can't really be replicated in the future, so there won't ever be another anime that 'feels' like a 70s anime, or an 80s one, etc. The canon is closed on them.
Also, is any studio occasionally still doing cel animation on an OAV here or there or a movie as kind of a special thing? Somehow I doubt it. The techniques of the old timers are probably being lost.

You are aware that cel animation is still a thing, right? Digital colouring and after effects, sure, but a lot of focal point stuff is still hand drawn.
