Why do people think this show is boring again?
Hyouka is basically Bakemonogatari if actual animation was used and the dialogue actually had a point.

Good though
Because it is boring and mundane through and through.
It's not about the pacing being slow, or the amount of dialogue. I have no problem being that.
But the content itself is boring, the mysteries they are solving, the characters and their arcs are all so fucking uninteresting.
It doesn't even have the benefit of having a beautiful fantasy or countryside setting to get some iyashikei points.

Mysteries based upon works from legendary writers transformed into a real life situations which can happen to everyone are hardly uninteresting.
And the biggest mystery with freaking Tomoe is amazing considering we're allowed to test our own wits majorly here, moreso than others.
Man, Hyouka is what happens when you take classic detective mysteries and rules and shape them into slice of life.

Hardly. Hyouka was the same old pastiche of apathetic latent genius highschool boy paired with beautiful airhead in a situation beyond his control, with a genki goofy comic relief best friend with an inferiority complex and the flatter chested (than the main girl) side girl who exists to appeal those who want something a bit more tomboyish and geeky. The 'detective' elements were for the most part insipid and much could have been cut out without dramatically ruining the overall goal of the show up until the end.
To be fair Hyouka has its moments but otherwise it is vastly over-rated by a fanbase that refuses to even acknowledge that their show even has any flaws or dismisses anyone who raises points of contention with worthless ad hominem and tumblr tier 'you dun get it!' rhetoric.

It's not about acceptance, but that people actually had fun with the mysteries.
Just cause people like you don't like it, doesn't equate to it being boring.So stop throwing your own opinion around like it's a fact and the absolutely only thing that matters.
Based on story alone, I could agree that it's a bit boring. What prevents from it becoming boring, for pretty much ever, is the animation, visual directing, visual effects and cinematography. It's simply gorgeous and that alone kept me interested. How well it presents itself arguably makes all other aspects of it better. You get stronger feelings towards every character because they act and feel alive. You care more about the story aspects because you care about the characters. And so on.
Had this been done by some mediocre studio then the chance are that the end result would have been relatively bad.
It's been almost three years since it aired and I honestly don't think that anything has topped it in terms for production.

you're right, I'm not as smart and I couldn't find anything interesting with Hyouka, it's obviously not for everyone and only for the people that care enough to open their eyes and use their brain
well the mystery was bad for sure
I fell asleep like a dozen times during the first 6 episodes than I got invested for some reason and never got bored again. It had fantastic animation and the characters were written excellently.
Also Satoshi did nothing wrong.

Chitanda aside, all of the characters in Hyouka are very likable people who have personalities and depth to them. Mayaka in particular is one of the best portrayals of a teenage girl I've ever seen in anime, and the rest of the cast is interesting too.
Barakmon is just boring. It's utterly devoid of the charm Hyouka has and there's nothing interesting about the protagonist's story beyond the most basic Disney cliches. The rest of the cast don't get fleshed out beyond their stereotypes either. I'd much prefer just rewatching Totoro instead, because it actually deals with living in the suburbs with more imagination, jokes, and life than Barakamon ever could in twelve episodes.
As for NNB, it's just another Silver Link anime that showcases the problem with the studio. Obnoxiously unfunny and not even trying to be exciting.
Reminder that best boy should have won the Orekib owl and that every bitch in Hyouka is garbage-tier. That is all.
