So at this peak, was Kittan's Spiral power the strongest overall in the series? I get that he was obviously stronger than Simon at the time but I think Simon's power at the end of the series/movie was the strongest, obviously.Why was his going-out scene the best?

In all honesty I thought Simon and Kamina were way weaker in terms of likability than Kittan. Kamina was over the top, and his schtick got pretty annoying after awhile tbh. Shortly after his death, the creators copped out and made Simon a carbon copy of Kamina. Lame as fuck imo. Kittan was a much cooler figure in the show, and his death had a much larger impact on me than Kamina's did.

Kittan has two spiral eyes going much like the Spiral King.
It is later shown that Simon even in his old age after years of using his spiral powers still only has a single spiral eye.

What a jarring line to hear after the moody introduction to Simon and his life underground. It pans up to him and it looks like he's in his own little world.
I felt already that I couldn't understand why this dude had such a high spirit but in 30 seconds of him entering the show he made me grin like an idiot.
Even if Kamina was the hook for the show for a lot of people, he's better for the series dead than he was for it alive, he feels like a fucking legend by the end of the show, and makes his one scene return later on feel so much more fulfilling, it totally was a reality (in the show's eyes) check after the show taking such a dark turn later on, had a "don't give up just yet, remember all the shit we did back then." vibe to it.
