I'm basing it on the fact that none of the other shows would have made my top 20 for 2014 or even 2013, which wasn't a great year. Koufuku if alright, but it's no Gochusa or even Kinmosa and both of those were just inside the top 15 of their respective years for me. The next highest for me might be Rolling Girls, and I wouldn't anticipate it to be in the top 25.

This year looks pretty bleak so far. Junketsu no Maria is fine but nothing outstanding. In spring we will have another season of Sidonia no Kishi which is also fine but nothing really that great. Then new Digimon series which will be inevitable shit since Toei. Hopefully, Autumn will be an ambitious season again but nothing's certain since Kiseijuu was supposed to be anime of the decade since it adapted masterpiece manga by genius Iwaaki Hitoshi and it ended up being utter shit.
