I already did. I was one of those guys who is friends with (or at least an acquaintance of) basically every person on campus (students and teachers both).
This is different to popularity, however. I wasn't popular by any stretch of the imagination. I wasn't hated on or disliked (obviously), but I wasn't even remotely the talk of the town. I was just another guy in the group, who would hang out every now and then and would say "sup" in passing.
I enjoyed my highschool days. Never had any issues, and due to my overstudy in junior high I was able to skip 90% of my classes. First semester I only had two classes (one on even days, one on odd days), and second semester I literally only had one (only had to come every other day). Combine this with having a job, and I was able to do basically anything I wanted to do all day.

I did. I met a girl not unlike her, and was legit pretty, but was autistic as fuck. We dated for 3 years, and I was balls deep in her weeks after meeting her.
At the time I thought we would be together forever, I loved her to no end. However, when college came, we grew distant. She started dolling up, and eventually catching the eyes of other guys, while I was sucked into my studies and job in an attempt to get a good job ASAP so I could ask her to marry me.
Eventually, she stopped coming home and eventually moved back in with her family when her mom got cancer. After her mother died, we talked it over, and she told me she didn't see a future with me. A couple of months later, she began dating this other guy, who turned out was already involved with her.
I graduated, and never saw her again. Through her friends, I found out she got married, divorced, and know works at some oil company as a secretary and directs plays on some no-name theater in a small town.
