Hey guy's, sorry to be a bother but i was wondering if someone could explain something to me.
Now as i understand it, railgun was supposedly cannon, but how does the daihasei ark fit into index? Isn't touma suppose to be dealing with Oriana? And even if its in between, isnt it too major to not be mentioned in the novels? To be fair im not that far in the novel (ss2).

Railgun Daihaseisai is the the rest of the week.

From what I remember anons saying, the Railgun arc takes place a day afterwards. There's a timeline that shows when all these things happen, it's pretty stuffed together.

The whole deal with Oriana starts and ends on the first day.
The Railgun Daihaseisai arc starts on the first day, though much of it occurs on the second day. The bonfire dance occurs near the end of the Daihaseisai, and the epilogue with Misaka Imouto telling Mikoto that she wants to go the beach is after the Daihaseisai.

The manga is so good, anime is garbage. It has good OP's and the sisters arc was done very, very well in S2 but there's too much filler to forgive.

Heavy Object is fun anon. The main characters share various things in common with the older characters from Index (such as Touma, Hamazura etc) while also being unique in their own ways.
The setting is also pretty interesting, probably one of the more unusual takes on mecha since Sora no Woto.
