So how does /a/ deal with post anime depression
Don't binge a show, don't get post anime depression. Simple as that.
Watch more anime.
>>119958683
but how to not binge
It isn't possible
>watch anime
>enjoy it
>ending leaves you feeling empty and depress
>start new series immediately
Rinse and repeat.
>>119958629
Watch a better show.
You'll not feel depressed and empty after completing ~100 shows.
>>119958629
I don't really get post anime depression because there's always something as good or better. I watched all three Hajime no Ippo seasons recently and I was a bit sad as it was pretty fucking amazing but I knew there were similiar manga/anime that were as good or even better, not to mention S4 is likely to happen in a few years.

So this is the power... of neo-/a/... Heh, it's quite something.
The only anime related depression that I get anymore is coming to terms with the fact that I've seen everything worth watching.
Watch something like high school DxD
>>119958629
I love Asakura
>>119958740
only binge on good stuff. There's no point in marathoning Sekirei unless you really do hate yourself.
Knowing that in every season there are at least two series worth watching makes me not have any post anime depression.
I don't get such depression. If an anime was good then i'm happy i watched it and that's it. There is always more stuff to watch and you can rewatch old favorites too.
>>119958629
Find another show to watch, or start buying doujins and other merchandise to fill the void. That's what I did withearly UC Gundam.
>>119959063
What if you just want to get it over as fast as possible?
>>119958959
>Wow, who the hell watches anime? Is this really what /a/ has become?
>>119959125
Why would you even watch stuff like Sekirei in the first place?
>>119959014
>xD
Get out.
>>119959197
Every time.
>>119958959
>he says as he posts a /v/ shitposting meme
>>119959175
I think that guy was just using it as an example. I only saw a few episodes, but it's pretty funny to watch with friends. Same with Seikon no Qwaser.
Yeah, yeah, I'll see myself >>>/out/.
>>119958926
And you have 500 chapters of a manga you can read
I guess the best way is to watch more anime, but I prefer to sit in bed and cry my eyes out if it was a sad or cute anime.
>>119959175
Because reasons.
I'm still stuck in depression after rewatching Eva a few weeks ago, and starting new anime isn't helping this time.
>>119959770
Maybe you should just kill yourself?
>>119959770
Did you include EoE?
Maybe Rebuild would help.
>>119959770
I never got very depressed by Eva. The ending of NGE left me feeling good about myself. EoE, I don't know how to feel about it.
>>119959948
NGE made me feel depressed at how terrible the ending was. It answered nothing about the story and just left me feeling empty, liking watching it was a huge waste of time.
>>119958715
THIS
>>119959770
Me too
And with EoE the PADS is worst
>>119960042
>Watching NGE for the story
You fucked up.
>>119959918
Yes, I watched EoE. I'll probably watch Rebuild soon even though I don't like it that much.
>>119959948
The ending of NGE made me happy this time too, to the point where I wasn't even sure if I wanted to watch EoE. But I did and it just left me exhausted emotionally
>>119960120
The story was great, though. >>119960042 is just an idiot.
>>119960145
>The ending of NGE made me happy this time too, to the point where I wasn't even sure if I wanted to watch EoE. But I did and it just left me exhausted emotionally
Every time.
>>119958629
Watch more animu.
You stop getting "post anime depression" after having been into anime for >3-4 years.
>>119960298
Bullshit. Sometimes it's other way round.
>>119960567
I haven't felt anything resembling a "post anime depression" since 07-08 or thereabout.
If I happen to watch a particularly good show, I usually feel a sense of relief that it wasn't the usual pile of crap and that I haven't wasted my time.
I don't know, maybe I have become too jaded.
>>119960903
>watching anime for ten years
>still get hyped for good shows and depressed when they end
You're jaded, buddy.
>>119961049
>ten years
>only
What is this shit?
>>119961049
>impying
Not him, but I get hyped for shows every season while not feeling depressed after they end.
>>119961262AIJOU YUUJOU
>>119961202
Did you ever, though?
>>119958629
Vodka.
>>119958629
If what you watch is shit, you won't be upset when it's over.
>>119961484
Yes, when I was in my teens getting into anime.
