Where the hell do you get anime pre 2009?
>torrents dead
>DVDs non existent or an $80+ import cost
>websites demand a premium subscription to view shit that isn't theirs. (I think CR is one of the few places that has valid licenses)
Is there some magical place out there that has what I need?

Nothing good comes up, maybe you should word it a little differently.

Man, I feel old.
Anyway, there were others peer to peer clients before torrents, you know. Stuff like Kazaa, eMule, hell I think you could download some on fucking Napster.
Not to mention how easy it was to upload whole episodes on YouTube or Dailymotion without having it deleted.
Of course, all of that was glorious 240p with yellow subtitles. When it wasn't just a random 20 minutes of Russian porn video.
....did torrents...
95-99 VHS
00-02 Mediaplay DVD
02-06ish Suncoast DVDs... so many anime and KaZaa and some other places like that P2P
06-15 Some flash places and torrents.
Nah, you're out of luck, OP. That stuff can't be found anywhere now.

I remember how awesome stage6 was when it was around. Better quality than youtube and no AMVs all over the damn place
http://bakabt.me/ is great, except that you need an account for it.
I do torrents all the time. Most stuff from the last 15 years aren't that hard to find. Just a simple bakabt search can find most things.

On Nyaa, sure.
It's called Bakabt OP. Where the fuck have you been?
>>119833868
You don't need an account. It's a public tracker. Just google the name of the series and then "bakabt" and you can find the page for it and download it without an account. Only morons actually make Bakabt accounts.
>>119833868
OP, don't do this. It's a honeypot that sells your information to Commie Subs

Torrents weren't dead in 2009. I remember leaving my comp on to load while I went to class. High priority on the next 2 or 3 episodes. Get through a season in a week, not counting the weekends. This was circa 2005. It was a choice to leave the torrents running or not (especially if they were zooming at 20 kb/s) when I wanted to play unreal tournament 2k4. torrentspy and mininova were the shit (never did supernova).
In the order I used them:
>VEOH
>Limewire
>Youtube
>Shady download sites
>GaiaOnline theater (totally did not like Tsubasa Chronicles)

Goto Animebyt.es and during account creation, tell them how deep and meaningful the writting is to Naruto.
