That applies to most characters in LH. Most characters before their screen time episodes didn't even have anything beyond 1 dimensional personalities. Then they give them a backstory + quirk like Souji, Henrietta, etc. If they are lucky they get to be Krusty and have a shit ton of screen time for awhile, but at the end it's not like the character has a lot of depth or anything.
