Is there anything that is significantly better to watch at 60fps or higher?
>>
Is there even any anime done at 60fps?
>>
Definitely not parashit
>>
>>119384642
No because it would take well over five times longer to make if it did.
>>
>>119384642
Of course not. It's done with interpolation. Still looks good.
>>
>>119384706
Uh no it wouldn't? It would take twice as long.
>>
>>119384744
Anime is generally animated at 8 frames per second. You retard.

You're
Retarded
>>
>>119384768
Uh no, it's 24 usually like most tv shows, I supposed it would probably be a little longer than twice for steady 60, but still, it's about there.
>>
Not OP and not a regular poster here but what do you guys think of Parasyte (Kiseijuu etc..)? I personally really enjoy it. Having tried Tokyo Ghoul, I can safely say Parasyte is superior in almost every aspect. That is just my opinion though. Can't wait for the next episodes.
>>
>>119384836
Love the manga, anime is just okay. So go read the manga, faggot.
>>
>>119384836
I might have liked it better if I hadn't read the manga years ago.

Just because the video itself runs at 24 fps does not mean that every frame is animated. Please stop saying stupid things now.
>>
>>119384830
Now this is bait.
>>
>>119384706
That's not the reason actually, they could make anime from 24fps content into 60 but there's no reason because:

24 is anime/film standard
the actual unique frames per second in anime can be 6-12 depending on scene which is way lower than 24 already so upping to 60 would simply make the panning scenes more smooth and nothing else.
>>
>>119384884
>It's running at 8 fps inside the 24 fps
Do you have any idea how stupid you sound here

>>
>>119384642
Isn't there that one scene in the first episode of Hyouka?
>>
>>119384973
Animation is when something is moving

You can have a single frame of an animation play for more than one frame of a video, but it's not animated at a higher frame rate because of that you fucking mongoloid.
>>
>>119384836
I prefer the manga because I read it a long time ago, but the anime is a great adaptation. Specifically the ending of this most recent episode, I think Shinicihi's VA does a great job.

Read the manga.
>>
>>119384973
What are duplicate and triplicate frames?
>>
>>119384877
From what I've seen the manga looks a bit too simplistic for my taste. I just found out it's an old manga, I guess that's why. Is there any reason why it took so long for it to be adapted into an anime?
>>
>>>/v/

FUCK OFF
>>
>>119385030
Yeah, that was made at 30fps, not 60.
I don't think animators can really fit 60 frames of stuff in one second.
It's way too subtle for an animation movement.
>>
>>119385013
>Thinking it's bait
Anime airs at 24 fps, to make it 60 it would take about twice as long, this isn't hard to understand.
>>119385043
Yes, so it's running at 24 fps at all times regardless, it could be made into 60 by multiplying the animated parts frames by 2.5.
>>
>>119384973
>It's running at 8 fps inside the 24 fps
Except that's not what was said. In fact, they explicitly made clear that they were not saying that it was running at 8 fps. It's being animated at 8 fps, which is totally different than running at 8 fps.
>>
>>119385137
You're fucking retarded, go back to /v/.
>>
>>119385137
Just fuck off already, you've already proven how stupid you are.
>>
So in completely CG stuff like Sidonia, why can't they do 60fps?

Go fuck yourself with a rake or lurk more.

>Would reading the manga ruin the anime for me?

I don't really understand what you're saying, since the manga came first. That's like saying reading the book will ruin the movie for you. There's no real reason not to read the manga, because it's what the anime is based on. There's really nothing else to spoil at this point, Kana dying was the only shocking thing that happened.
>>
We'll know once they make a 60 fps anime
Interpolation looks like complete trash
>>
>>119385098
>too simplistic
Yeah, go fuck yourself, you shallow cunt.
>>
>>119385130
I think some recent Toei stuff has been 30fps too, HaCha for example I think might be because Doremi releases (24fps) are really choppy very noticeable in panning but the early Shimakaze releases in 30 fps are really smooth.

Also I'm fairly sure Matsutaro's OP was 30fps because HS CR releases were 30fps but due to failed VFR/ framerate conversion or maybe just ignorance the show got released by CR completely in 30fps when only the intro was actually 30fps which resulted in fucked up frame timings during the actual episodes.
>>
>>119385396
Unfortunately, the only way that's going to happen (probably) is CG anime.
>>
>>119385245

It's best to keep it at 12 or 24 fps to imitate the traditional anime experience
>>
>>119385245
Because NTSC.
>>

Thank god.
>>
>>119385453

But you JUST said earlier it runs at 8 fps

Your argument is falling apart.

Ok so this worked pretty good.
>>
>>119387512
There is something off about this. It's like it has fast forward on.
>>
>>119387712
Because it basically does. Anime has plenty of still frames where nothing happens. Stuff is animated with this in mind. If you interpolate that animation, more movement is conveyed in that same time frame. Thus, the movement looks strangely fast and jarring with the stills.
>>
I don't see why it's always 60fps people go for, 48 would seem like a better choice if you're gonna do this at all.
>>
>>119387512
Looks creepy.
>>
>>119387712
Interpolation/60ps does this. It looks like complete shit, too, when you try to take a screenshot of an in-between frame. It gets all buggy and distorted.
