Though it takes place during the war, it’s definitely not series about guns firing all around, but of the psychological warfare between spies. This is just my personal experience, but I participated in a program last year (2015) that showed how Britain viewed the German military. In ep 11, Germany is the set stage, so to view this place from the near same timing but different viewpoint was very interesting.

I saw him as a very loyal person. He’s Wolff’s, Ginga (Banjo)’s character, subordinate, and though Johan’s frightened by him, he also holds a certain degree of respect for him. Colonel Wolff also gives Johan a lot of commands, so I felt the distance between them is a lot closer compared to his other subordinates.
