Losing an accent is actually pretty easy if you know linguistics/how to properly make use of your mouth and aren't just learning through cause & effect.
My English, Japanese and Dutch are all pretty much on the same level, I speak 2 more languages but lack of use and practice, make those kind of iffy.
Biggest tip would be (for people that don't have experience singing/voice acting and so on), is to actually learn where having an accent comes from, the biggest denominator is people carrying sounds and tongue placements from one language to another.
