Do the likes of Rin and other high class mages know about the stuff in Tsukihime/KnK (True ancestors, Types, Dead Apostoles, Mystic Eyes) or the Tsukihime folk knowing about shit like the Grail and Servants?
The Nasuverse is connected, but how much? Fate barely mentions anything you see in the moon side, the most obvious is True Magic and Sealing Designations, but they don't talk much about those.
So yeah, tl;dr, do 'normal' magus know of the more fantastical beings in Tsukihime or not? From my very limited knowledge the one that encroaches heavily with wide influence on both is Zelretch.

I assume all mages know about mystic eyes, but death perception are so rare that either all mages know about them or only a few specialists do. I also figure mages would know what the dead apostles are since the mages association sure got their ass to podunk, nowhere to burn a village to the ground when they heard about a dead apostle outbreak.

A better argument would probably be that the church knows about magic and vampires and mystic eyes and shit so you'd think the mage's association would too.
Also Kerry's dad was experimenting in order to turn himself into a dead apostole, so I'd guess normal mages do know about that.

It hasn't ever been clearly specified how much the common magus is aware of, but what is known is that most maguses are well aware of the existence of Dead Apostles and some seek immortality by becoming one.
Since Zelretch is the head of the Magus Association, and everyone wants to be his disciple, it's likely that most magi know of how he became a Dead Apostle (fighting Crimson Moon). If that's the case, then most magi would probably have at least heard of True Ancestors, especially considering some of the Dead Apostle Ancestors are True Ancestors and the magus association has to be well aware of the Church's top targets.
The Church likely knows pretty much everything but only teaches most of it to the Executors and their branch of the church.

After using the gemmed sword that Shirou projected she was able to understand the second magic a bit and made meaningful progress on making the sword herself.
