I thought we were supposed to be getting rid of generals. Why did Love Live, im@s, MGG, and maybe a few others get nuked but all the shounen generals are still up? Is this just super-obvious mod bias or there is a reason for it?
And to clarify, I was happy to see those other generals go but I don't get why they were the only ones.

Generals are fucking horrible and always a cancer to boards.
They fucked up /v/ so bad they had to make a separate board, they absolute destroyed /sp/, it's not so bad on /a/ but that shit needs to stop.

Because cancer never goes away. The only solution to generals is honestly just wait for them to wither naturally. The mods won't do shit.
It's because everyone who's in those threads are from /v/, and it's easier to contain them in their little bubbles than delete them and have them spread to every other thread.
I don't like it, but it's a necessary evil unless you want SnK fujos and Narutards shitting up every other thread.

Meta threads generally end up better than shitty generals, and they only happen every week and a half at the most. Jojo generals however are a 24/7 thing, same with akame ga shit, nardo, and SnK.

Nothing you can do to stop it anon. It will only change if people browsing /a/ realize what they are doing and stop it, but that will never happen so they continue to slowly change /a/ for the worse.

The thing is, that's exactly my point. If the decision of the mod team had been "whatever we'll leave the generals alone" that'd be one thing. But the clear mission statement was "generals are going", and they killed a few. But then they just sort of stopped for some reason.
I wish moot would make it clear what his team's goals are, if any, instead of trying to force this "cuck" meme.

I don't see a problem with generals as long as it's for something that is ongoing and generates a lot of material for discussion. Aikatsu and Precure generals are still pretty common, for example. The real problem is newfag posters who make threads for the sake of having threads, and the absolutely cancerous level of posting that ruins the generals themselves (MGG e.g.).

Jojo, SnK and AgK are ongoing series generating a pretty constant stream of new content to discuss.
Even despite that, SnK is absolute cancer and we should probably be getting rid of it.
AgK is just a mediocre shounen of the season. Once it finishes airing everyone will forget about it and it'll go back to monthly manga threads.
Jojo is going to be with us for a long time. They could do to happen less frequently than they currently are, but they serve as fujo containment since free ended.
Naruto is deleted on sight outside of 1 or 2 threads a day, which I assume just happen when a mod isn't looking.

I feel like the main reason generals get the axe is because they outlast the inflow of new material to talk about. For instance, after the Hidamari graduation OVAs, wide threads slowly degenerated.
