Fate/Extra works best as a game honestly. An anime wouldn't work out too well. I mean, you can have an anime in the same vein as Carnival Phantasm or something with gags that are aimed for the fans but I think something similar to FoxTail would be good. All of the unusued and thrown out designs put into a story, anything that was left over. Hell, just anime FoxTail.

I was thinking the exact same thing, except I was thinking Shaft having worked on the openings already. I think it would be neat having them do it as they haven't animated anything Type-Moon of length and I think they could really nail the backgrounds.
