We all already know how something like that will go. Shinichi attempts to confess to Ran but is cockblocked by some case that he's compelled to solve. Just as he finishes and gets back to Ran, he starts to change back and has to run off again but Ran will cling on until the very last minute.

The best episodes are the ones that involve a lot of suspects because it's tougher to guess.
I remember this one episode with only 2 suspects- an innocent looking woman and a big grump that's protesting his innocence. Obviously you can tell which one the murderer is.

Detective Boys. Kaito Kid tends to be enjoyable, but everytime I see Genta and Mitsuhiko, I literally skip it because I know it's going to be bad.
It didn't used to. I still remember some of their earlier one's; the mansion murder mystery with the kids was interesting, and a few were tense, but after that I lost considerable interest the more they went on.
