1) The fact that you can buy more yens for one dollar doesn't necessarily mean that yen is weaker than it was before. It can for example mean that yen is a little bit stronger than it was but dollar is much stronger, hence buying supplies from overseas is easier for manufacturers (they don't have to buy anything from America).
2) Even if yen is weaker compared to all currencies than it was before, it doesn't mean that there's going to be an inflation. Mechanisms behind inflation are far more complex than you seem to think. There's been several examples of countries going through deflation while their currency was getting weaker.
