For generations a dogma that those who abuse chakra should perish has passed down in Toneri's family, a branch family from Hamura.
The main family were against the branch family's tortured misconception about the role, got accused of neglecting their duty and having Gedomazo stolen by Madara and extinguished by the branch family.
Toneri's plan is
to make Hanabi's eyes his own + marry with Hinata and go to bed
and fully mature the Tensei-gan to exterminate all the earthlings.
As Toneri is still in the middle of making the implanted Hanabi eyes grow on him, he often collapses with eye problems and gives breaks to Naruto and Hinata.
Hinata shares her Hamura line chakra to Naruto to destroy Toneri's Tensei-gan before it turns ripe.
As Hinata's chakra is purple and Naruto's orange, it kinda looks like Naruto and Sakukes co-fighting.
With that, all the puppets of Toneri stop moving and Sakura n co get out of the trouble.
It should also stop the moons fall but for some reasons it doesn't.
Then Naruto's last battle vs Toneri begins.
