My interpretation in the video is pretty much a self-insert of my current situation, so take don't take it too seriously or objective.
I think Shu is depressed after time of breaking up with Hana, passing by his time with his hobbies and delusions, like MEME, avoiding thinking about Hana. But his memories of her always come back (as HANA), tormenting him with negative emotions, I also think HANA is more like a dark side of Shu, like a shadow, trying to taint his memories of Hana (because it's easier to go on after a break up if you end up hating the other person).
So, you have HANA trying to fuck up with Shu's happy memories of Hana, Shu getting angry by it, and getting defeated.
If I had to write it in dialog form to be more understandable, it would be something like:

I'm not sure if it's exactly THE perfect woman, so much as only the good aspects of Hana. A mentality that rejects the negative is necessary in order to not go crazy when you live an anti-social, lonely life. So it was a relationship that was doomed from the start, because from the very beginning he couldn't have more than a surface relationship with her which would shatter the moment any problem arised.

Quality both visually and audibly aside this artistic and heartfelt roller-coaster does a good job of selling a capsule that has sufficient design but enough "void details" that leave it open to the interpretation of different types of reclusive individuals as pertaining to love conquests in contrast with moe culture.
