Best man Lavalley won't be so best anymore when it's revealed he's the one manipulating Amira. There's literally no way for him to evade the morally gray area. If he's not her father but simply Martinet's agent then there's help for him. But if he is her fater and he has some good intention, he's still manipulating his kid and using its power to his own ends without telling the truth. The necklace Amira is wearing is almost certaintly his method of locating her, without it the Orlean Knights wouldn't even know where to start and yet for some reason they're always on her tails. The amulet glows when she's on Gregor, and sure enough there are the knights. Also it seems like Amira got her necklace from Martinet, so they are at least cooperating. Lavalley is mising at the start of the episode, and sure enough we're introduced to Martinet at the very same time. And so on.

I get the feeling they might pull a face-hell turn with him as well. It's not something I particularly like, to be honest. I prefer him being an honorable guy, but there are definitely things pointing towards he might turn out to be some demon or agent for the demons, or something. Some other people have speculated what if he's Lucifer in disguise so deep he doesn't even know it.
I'm hoping for the best, but yeah, I'm fearing the worst.

I feel the same. The scenes where he's holding the pendant and gazes at the horizon as if searching for Amira were very beautiful and made me root for their reunion a lot, but now it appears as something almost sinister. The way he lures her out of the room, it almost feels child molester baiting a kid with candy. But maybe he was also luring her away from her room to safety. If he communicates with Martinet he knows that Azazel is coming and Amira can't leave her room- leaving her a vulnerable target. I think he's almost certaintly a demon, but maybe not a complete scum. Feels like next episode might decide how I'll feel about several characters, I'm already rooting for Azazel because he has so much against him going on and so little plot armour.

I would most definitely not go that far, for a variety of reasons, but yeah I got a sort of strange feeling from him a couple of times this episode.
First there was the glance they focused on where the bounty hunter device didn't detect her as a demon. He knew it wasn't going to, and when I first saw the preview pic from that specific scene is when it first really cemented my thoughts that "Oh christ, they might actually make him evil".
One that sticks out to me though is this scene in the pic. The way he delivers that line, I can't quite tell if it's meant to be honest surprise, like in a neutral way, or an exclamation; or if it's surprise, in the "this is bad news" type way. Like I said before, I'm hoping it's one of the former. I would be severely disappointed if they turned him into someone evil. But yeah, there is definitely lot more to him than anyone in these threads ever initially thought.

reaction images are cropped and quality is not really relevant. PNGs are useful for re-editing them, JPG is fine to to keep filesize down. Not many complaints there.
But if you take screenshots then you really shouldn't make the shittiest quality possible and act as if you didn't do anything wrong.
