Because people tend to confuse enemies progression and plot progression, some people just want Miura to stick with Guts x Griffith/Apostles horror struggle but then again, he did everything flow logically and progress to the new arc, he can't just keep guts fighting in hell for the eternity it wouldn't make sense.

Going by Guts' last chapter, healing Casca definitely takes top priority over anything else. People are just so worried about the series being concluded that they kind of forget that in favor of Guts killing Griffith and getting it done and over with, which would be simple if Griffith wasn't basically a demi-god and Guts didn't have a million other things to fight (up to and including himself) before even finding out where he is.

Everyone jokes that the hellhound is all talk and gets beaten by kids. But really the only thing that stops it is the will to protect Casca (and by extension her child) and the fact that we're only just beginning to see that dark part of guts getting ready to take over means that whatever happens on elf island isn't going to defeat it. Hellhound isn't ready to be abandoned/concluded as a character so I'm a little worried what that means for curing casca.

The dog is technically an Ideal being, created from the negative emotions swelling in Guts' heart from the Eclipse, much like how IoE was created from humanity's. I say Ideal due to it still needing a conduit in the form of the Berserk armor in order to manifest. If it was Astral, everyone on the boat would already be dead.
Most of that is just speculation rather than concrete evidence, though. The Ideal world will still need to be introduced somewhere down the line, but an infodump by the Elf King or whoever wouldn't work.

Then, when she dies, he views him as a rabies-infested mutt who follows him around like a lonely puppy.

I genuinely think that, because Casca is the only thing holding Guts back from giving into the armor completely (in the sense that his entire future rests on her recovery) she may play a big role in Guts finally taming it. A big part of these emotions welling up in the first place was because Guts never talked to anybody about what happened, and he still hasn't told anyone about his or Casca's pasts. That's all well and good to stop the new party from getting too close, but at the same time, he's made himself vulnerable. Casca is the only one he can really talk to at this point, so if something happens to her, like she can't recover or an accident occurs and she dies, then there really is no hope of Berserk having a happy ending. Casca definitely needs to talk to Guts too about her problems, she's tackling them by running away from reality entirely instead of trying to suppress those feelings through killing lots of shit.

I don't have the page on me, but when Schierke learnt how to help Guts control the armour and hellhound started appearing bound in chains in Gut's dreams, it said that it would feign servitude while waiting for the chance to take over. That was on the boat and we still haven't had a chance to see the full extent Hellhound potentially has over guts, meaning that if Casca defeats the hellhound, it won't be on the island immediately after she's cured. hellhound will get one last hurrah and things may get pretty dark.

One of them is Casca complaining that the voice director had her make the same two EEEEEH EEEEEEH noises over and over again while calling the bit where Guts stabs his arm off "pretty gross", while the other outtake has her wondering what she should say to Guts before shouting I LOVE YOU GUTS and then squeaking it again afterwards. First film also has her doing a pretty cute British accent that would give Troy Baker a run for his money.
As for Griffith, I think he only gets one outtake where he relishes in delight at finally getting to speak in the third film after one hour of Guts making dolphin noises while going down on Casca, only to get BTFO'd by Void. He thinks Femto is a girl's name, or a good name for a disease. Griffith doesn't sing either, but Void certainly has a lovely voice.

She most likely will. After all, if she can't remember a single thing about the Eclipse, then that will deny her of the development she badly needs. Facing the reality of what's happened in the first step to dealing with her loss.

I don't think so. If I found out that I had miscarried my child after all that, I'd want to run away again. I think the Sea God arc showed how close the jRPG party is now, and Casca's recovery might change the balance of it due to all the new characters she'll have to interact with and form relationships with. Puck will probably be the first of the party to really reach out to her, which would work well for her considering that he knew Judeau.
