The term 'generic tsundere' isn't useful. Generic means 'of a genre', if you label it at all you are applying a genre to it yourself. There is then no such thing as a tsundere--or anything else you've labeled--that isn't generic then. There is of course nothing wrong with having a tsundere at all. It's a classification for a group of personalities that tend to act a certain way.
I believe instead you're trying to imply is that Aika is a derivative of another work. You are of course correct in the strict sense. There is a limited set of characters that can ever be created, it is not an infinite combination. From this universal set it is possible to take every single subjectively classified tsundere and morph them into a single archetype mean configuration. We can then assign a value to this configuration and find the distance every other tsundere character falls from it. There is now something you must understand, this mean character we have created is unique! For a short example if we have a one dimensional plane and the characters with some trait x = {1.2, 3.8, 4.2, 7.0} then E{x} = 4.05. This existence is completely unique! So it follows then that even the template character which is nothing but a mean of all the other tsundere would be a unique existence.
Then someone who is a derivative of only a couple of other tsundere characters, plus a bit of the author, would have to be unique as well. It's really amazing if you think about it, this seemingly small subset limited is somehow vast at the same time. Tsundere are a microcosm of the finite universe! You might feel limited about how interesting a tsundere is--after all you have categorized it with a single handle--but inside that class is a near infinite amount of variation! What you need to do is look past the overall handle and realize Aika is her own wonderful tsundere. QED.
