While I love Lorgenome not just for his character, I've got to point out he didn't know Nia was an antispiral. At least I'm pretty sure he didn't. Also, he was arrogant as shit because he was the strongest being in the galaxy for like a thousand years, but after getting his ass kicked and realizing he was wrong, he humbled himself and fought alongside Team Gurren not as a king, but a warrior among his comrades and even sacrificed himself for them and the universe without hesitation. He wasn't perfect, but in the end he was a hero.

Char kind of became the torch bearer of that dream, whereas the Zabis tried to corrupt it, using the newtypes abilities to dominate others rather than to coexist with them.
I was just saying that Char was definitely in line with the Zeonist ideals, though in their pure form, not in their Zabi-ism manifestation.
