I think he's saying that because the layout and composition, as well as some of the character design in OP's image are reminiscent of ES21. Although Eyeshield's layouts weren't done by Murata, and his other work doesn't quite display the same sensibility.

OP here, you're kinda right I've never liked any of the mangakas work and I hate all the hype his work gets. It's a slight improvement over Sensei no Bulge but his writing is so mediocre that I never care for the characters or the story
And I also hate the way he draws the teeth and teeth gum for some reason.

Inagaki Riichiro. He's usually listed as the author of the series, but he did Eyeshield's "nemu" which in practical terms is the rough draft, or storyboard for the comic. So in addition to plotting the story, he was doing panel layouts and scene composition.

Also it's probably kind of a pet project for the author, since he had written a pilot like a million years before and his first series was Wingman, which also was in the hero genre (which, btw, is kinda decent at the beginning, even good for something written in the 80s, but becomes a clusterfuck later). At some point you have to keep track of what's actually happened, what was a dream, what was imagination, and what happened but happened to a clone.
So I guess it's a way it's really like a real superhero comic.

He's still beta in his heart though. I would've loved it if he didn't obtain a "quirk" but instead had to be like a Batman sort of character, trained and fit but powerless and using his stalking abilities to find out his enemies strengths and weaknesses.
Still, I like where this is going. The characterization is consistent and the writing is pretty enjoyable. Still needs more Mt. Lady though.

It's like in the Boku no Genderbend and Boku no Dumpire. Quite western. Fairly heavy on small details and lines, quick to resort to big emotion faces. Quite endearing.
It seems nice enough for the moment to stick around for more chapters. One thing I didn't really enjoy in those first 3 chapters was that each one had what seemed to be an inordinate amount of exposition bubbles with walls of text. Together with the somewhat wonky grammar of the translation it made for a tedious read in those parts.

it's more manga theme'd. there are quiet a few french mangaka inspired comics, plus European standards better the japanese along with westernized humor like the koreans have. it's a good series
