This is actually quite brilliant. In the original, they were obviously going for the idea that the bars symbolism the concept a isolated space. Chitoge is lonely and therefore in her own isolated space, locking up her feelings from others around her. In contrast, the other people in the scene are with a friend, either completely bearing their feelings and breaking out of this isolated space (the girls on the bottom right/left on the bottom right), creating their own isolated space containing both of them (the guys on the top right) or a conflict between the isolated space and their desire to break free (the guys on the top left).
We also different sizes of bars, showing the different layers of emotion. Each set of bars symbolizes one layer in our isolated space, and Chitoge has many bars surrounding her, which means she is a complex and deep individual.
Now, focusing on the BD change: it is amplifying these points to give another one. The ground being the repetition of bars symbolizes how EVERYONE hides their feelings, and one can never truly break out of their isolated space. The different shades of colours is a representation of the emotional conflict within one self, and the shapes are the memories that were influenced by these emotions. The fact that everyone is a silhouette is a result of this -- we are looking inside them, all with their emotional conflict and memories, and in the TV release we were looking at their exterior, giving the false illusion that some of them were free from the isolated space that we all use to hide our inner feelings.
