And I was just going to read that. I hate continuations and season 2 for manhwa. Fuck they're awful. I was thinking about where I learnt of the series and was reminded of Within the Light where comparatively the author died before completion. Which is an interesting contrast. Besides shounenshit (well the most popular shit), manga is more likely to be canned than anything else.

Yeah that's the thing, it was a decent read and all the drama was played off of her and the boy trying to help her. It was melodramatic at times but the ending still felt right. GoTW had MC overcome his bullying but it's still going after he accomplished that with no clear over-arching plot to help it along.

Honestly though, the only manhwa that makes me question peoples taste is Feng Shen Ji. A few shots of cheap oil paint and people drool over it despite the incredibly shitty story and massive plot armor the MC has.

As others have pointed out before, I wouldn't be surprised if this was due to the deluge of conflicting instantaneous feedback webtoon authors get in their comments section, and they end up losing their vision of what they set out to do and instead try to chase multiple rabbits by pandering to conflicting tastes out of fear of losing their readership, which provides them with revenue.
the story isn´t kinda getting anywhere but I still like the characters and the newest chapters are hinting an interesting underground tournament with all the characters wich sounds awesome.

Basically some other stuff happens and she does some kind of ad about finding him but he's sort of gone off on his own away from the one girl that had a crush on him's place. In the end she has people helping her look for him and she ends up finding him back on that bench in the park they used to walk to, except he's dead. Cue random scene with his spirit or some shit talking to her, series ends with her with her head on his lap sobbing.
It's just so fucking stupid, they set up all the plot points necessary for him to get his condition looked at and them to have a happy ending but nope.
