I've played the games so much that recognize the attack patterns they always have.
Lucky Star has those pink homing lasers and I can generally rely on her to finish ships off thanks to those.
Kung Fu Fighter always gets wrecked if I'm not looking but that Anchor Claw.
Same deal with Trick Master, omni directional attacks are nice.
Happy Trigger I can send off to fight ships on my flank on its own.
Harvest and Sharp Shooter being offensively capable on their respective routes.
The designs on the 2nd series of Emblem Frames aren't amazing but it was having 7 of them to control.
