No, the plain orthographic view makes it look like some image out of a (fake) jewelery pamphlet which you find in your mailbox and throw it away instantly by just seeing how bad it's layouted. You don't feel the action. Besides that, the jewel is out of energy anyways, so that over saturated red glow makes you think it's so full of energy that it's already annoying.
