The reason why Jaldabaoth targeted the empire is revealed: it is because Nazarick holds Momon in servitude, but Jaldabaoth requires a certain evil artifact in order to match Nazarick, an artifact he has been looking for. Thinking that Nazarick would be indifferent to the downfall of a neighboring country, Baharuth poses as a very good hostage to lure Momon out.
The battle will commence and the demons will be pushed back to the portal, but the portal could not be closed. It will require sealing, and a constant watch to make sure another demon horde will be repelled. The constant watch will be unfathomably strong undead.
Under this conundrum, Nazarick saves Baharuth, but since Baharuth has no force that can match the demon horde, it will rely on Nazarick once again to protect it from Jaldabaoth. Jircniv will be forced instead to offer vassalage to safeguard his people.

Why would you count Clementine but not the rest of the Black Scripture outside of the Godkins? Makes no sense to me. Most of them are way stronger just by levels and gear, Brain is literally the poorest fucker among the top tiers, only matched by Gazef when Gazef doesn't have his treasures (And even then Brain still doesn't come close to having something like MUH LEVEL UP RING).
Fluder would easily wreck Brain in 99% of situations and would only lose if the fight starts off real close with Brain in his draw stance, and even then it's only under the assumption Fluder's silent fast cast move list doesn't contain a counter.
All Fluder has to do is teleport which as far as what's been shown, is indeed instant. Once he teleports out of effective range and into the sky Brain can do nothing.
Brain however is probably the highest level human with the least gear, so that's a merit on it's own. The fact that he is ranked higher than Gagaran who is decked out the ass with items or Zero who has items and levels is quite telling of his raw skill and unlike most others, he received little to no training from superior people.
Hell the greatest growth in his entire life is literally just exchanging words with Sebas.

Not really, if you gave Fluder enough time he could also probably chip Shalltear's pink nail, he just needs time to cast his biggest spells. That's no different than how Shalltear literally walked slowly towards Brain allowing him to do whatever he wanted, including how Brain had already fought Shalltear once in complete failure and that was the only reason he could even come up with such an idea.
