A space ship kidnaps a 15 year old japanese teenager from his room and drops him off in Mexico, which is being under attack by mythical space vampires.
Turns out, the MC has a special power to shoot a clothes-dissolving liquid from his nose and it is effective against those vampires (all of which happen to be female) as it melts away their clothes and strips them from their vampiric powers.

High school aged Mexican (Not a high school student because Mexicans don't have schools) is being edgy all alone. As he is walking to his favorite tortilla shop (he doesn't buy anything for obvious reasons) he notices a cat in the field. He cases the cat because he's a plebical hungry Mexican that is not above eating a cat. The cat leads him to a rundown shack (like all the houses there). Out of curious and the ADD that is genetically ingrained in all Mexicans, he forgets about the cat and adventures into the house. In the house he find the cliched buff guy that wants to be called "Bro." Bro tells MC that the only way to end his struggles is to find divine guidance by Mexico's elder, Jesus. But one problem, Jesus had been kidnapped by the evil "El Juan." Bro has 300 children that he has to play catch with because his papa would kill him if he ran from his duties as a parent, so, Jorge (That's MC's name) must go alone to find Jesus with nothing but mariachis (with shanks attached) as his only defense. El Juan find out about this and sends his elite troops "El Juan's loco cinco" after him (One at a time obviously because we need to draw this out).

A Japanese exchange student who is interested in the cultural of Mexico and Latin America in general, goes to Mexico City for a year in order to get in the door as a writer for Univision to make the perfect telenovella. His concept of Mexico is horribly slanted from years of watching novellas and he assumes that everyone he meets falls into a certain stereotype, such as the beautiful chica who is held back from love by her scheming abuela, the plucky dark-skinned stud who lives outside society but can provide her with the love and freedom that she needs, or the rich grandfather who is inevitably dies or is killed before the third act.
This, along with other misconceptions from anime bring him nothing but humorous conflict and misery going to a high school, where he deludes himself to the reality going on around him. From working in a panneria, to corrupt local elections, and searching Mayan ruins for anime paraphernalia, he has a lot of work cut out for him in order to achieve his dream.

Each visit to the coffee shop shows the Programmer developing relationships with the people at the coffee shop, conflicting with his desire to be a part of something greater, as he converses with the A.I concerning his choice to transcend.

We follow a group of poor canadians trying to cross the southern border to Mexico in hopes of a better life. At the same time, the feathered serpent utters a prophecy that Huitzilopochtli will soon return to bring carnage and bloodshed on mankind.
Turns out MC is the only one who can stop him, yada yada, you know how this song and dance goes.
Also most characters are stereotyped to hell and back. In impoverished Canada you can see disheveled kids playing hockey in the street with broken sticks and stealing maple syrup to survive. Mexico is a modern wonderland, except there's a mariachi band in literally every scene taking place there.

A kids best friends gets killed in front of him by a 'murican, the kids is thrown out of a window. Kid survives. Years late he tracks the killer, who now is an upstanding citizen and billionare philantrophist who took drugs when he killed MCs best friend thus remembering nothing of that time, into Mexico and hatches an elaborate plan to take his revenge on him and his family.
