King hasn't theoretically defeated many monsters in their eyes, so they only see him as a very powerful being that is on their side, not a utility for to be used for their advantage, as say someone like Tatsumaki could be. King was pretty much a random that was attacked by a monster when Saitama was around (iirc he still had hair so King doesn't recognize him right off the bat). Saitama rekt the monster and left, and King was found at the scene with his scars, so they thought he killed the monster. This is one of his only documented "kills". Due to the situation, King went along with it, and because the scars made him look like a badass, he quickly rose in the ranks. He's actually pretty timid and freaks out easily.In actuality, King has no actual power at all. In contrast to his title, he is in no doubt the weakest S-rank there is. Though I suppose is ability to exude a really heavy pressure from his meancing looks, but it shouldn't be a real power.
