Susanoomon is probably at least stronger than the normal Omegamon. It's a God Man Digimon, and those tend to be insanely strong. Susanoomon in particular is an amalgamation of the powers of the Ten Warriors, the ancient Digimon who would be the precursers of many Digimon species in the future, whose powers are far greater than most modern Ultimate-class Digimon.

There was a Tumblr posted on /co/ that asked one of the head writers about 02 on Twitter and linking other sources about the series. They pretty much said that 02 is canon and that they never intended Kora and Tai to be more than just friends. So I'm assuming this new series explains all the changes leading up to the epilogue.

I agree, they're pretty nice in that (except for the Yagami siblings) they sound like the original yet make sense for a western audience.
