>[Frogbox] Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei [BD h264 hi10p 1024x576 FLAC]
>A release of Zoku is in progress and will be available soon™.
pls I have waited so long for definitive SZS releases.
>>110933622
Now I don't have to download the other release
Are they doing all the signs? Because if not I don't see why even bother.
>>110933622
There's already one on BakaBT
>>110933800
It's shit.
>>110933850
The BD release?
>>110933800
I read the comments there. nonA forgot to mux in fonts, and apparently SZS is supposed to be 29fps, not 24fps.
From archives, looks like Frogbox is using another release's subs as a base and cleaning it up, but I have no idea if they encoded at 29fps or added in more signs from afk.
>>110933998
They redid the typesetting, so possibly

Now when is PPD getting a proper DVD release?

When you make your own group
>I literally just finished watching Zoku
Fucking hell.
Do you guys like webms?
I hope you do, because I watched the OVA's today and made a batch.
Last one I made today. Thank you for your patience.

Thanks anon
>>110937148
It's my pleasure. I have older ones, but I think enough other people have saved them already.
Bure>Ringo>Rumba

This seem to be the normal opinion on /a/

It still gets me.
>>110937275
I concur.
tfw szs discussion is dead and threads devolve into pic dumps and ringoburerumba shit
i wish it never ended

or next year
>>110937275
Spot on.
But when it comes to actual songsRumba>Bure>Ringo
Why did Shaft experiment on this show?
But does it still use gg's shitsubs?
>>110937678
it's the first season
>>110937705
That doesn't answer my question.
>>110937760
They didn't do the first season
YES! It's out. I remember these guys saying they would do it (only they said they'd take one week to do it, but it ended being a month)
Please do Zoku
Damn it, SHAFT. Pick this up again!
I actually miss all the seiyuu bringing out their inner crazies... and Kobayashi being Kobayashi.
So if this is meant to be 29fps, then this is encoded wrong, as its 24fps.
of course, if it isn't and the previous anon was wrong, then this is fine.
>>110937882
Guy who did a good chunk of the work on this here, I'm working on zoku right now, trying to do a better job as I feel like this release is pretty sloppy (though still easily an improvement over what was already out there, yikes).
Right now it's just me working on it so it's probably going to take a while but it's definitely going to get done, I love this series so goddamn much.
>>110933998
>>110938395
nonA's track was used as the base and we just reencoded the same raws they used so it is 24 fps, if that's not true to the original material I guess it can't be helped.
Late to the party, but where did those missing chapters around vol. 21/22 go? Also thanks for working on this series.
>>110938504
just watching the first episode now, the timing on some lines is pretty bad. I dunno if you guys are retiming much since this is the first time watching this, but if you want a timer, I'd be willing to help out with zoku and any after that.
>>110938313
>Kobayashi
It's dead, man. Stop it.
>>110938672
She still hanging out with Ohtsuki Kenji at rock festivals.
>>110937275
Did Maeda ever publish his own manga?
>>110938567
I have no idea, this is pretty awkward because I haven't even touched the final muxes so for all I know everything is completely broken, I guess that's what I mean by sloppy.
I'm sure as hell not going to turn down help though, feel free to hop on our irc any time if you feel like it, info on the torrent page.
>>110938759
the timing is pretty bad, constant scenebleeds, although it isn't present on all the signs, which tells me it isn't somehow some frames getting cut off, it's just bad timing.
typesetting I can't do much with, although probably a bit better than some instances in what you've put out. I probably won't bother joining some irc server I don't go to, if it were on rizon, I'd bother, but it's not. you can email me though, can't say I'll check this address often though.
>>110939100
Blunder of the century.
>>110938759
Oh, and whoever encoded this didn't do it in 10 bit, even though the release is marked as such, and the encode itself isn't great either, but that may just be a matter of it being an old show and simply not looking great in and of itself.
you should really check your releases before putting them out, this one shouldn't be rushed out as there wasn't any mad competition to get it out first.
>>110939348
How does this even happen? All the encoding I've done was for a couple DVDs for personal use, and even though I did it the hard way with pic related among other things, encoding with the wrong profile and framerate are ridiculous oversights.
>>110933622
Thank God I waited.
See the last comment. Not sure if it's even better than other releases.
>>110937275
Never change.

It probably isn't if that's all in one episode.
>>110939286
It's better than what's out there you know.Still love a.f.k's.
>>110940174
>CR level typesetting
>poor timing
>inconsistent coloring of subs
Yeah, no
>>110940303
it's actually worse than CR, cause by trying they've made it look worse than the very basic effort CR puts in.
If you are going to try and typeset things, you either do the most basic, or you make it look like it belongs entirely. halfway just doesn't work.
At least we got some good .webms.
I still have to watch the show, what would be the best release to use?
>>110940769
The DVD release or the one by nonA

Try it and see. Though I guess the DVD release is the best way for now.
Thank god, the torrents were all either shit or unseeded or impossible to find.
>>110940985
If you read the thread, you'll discover it's not a great release either
>>110937275Ringo>Mogire>Beam
>>110941011
Yeah, I was just about to say.
>>110938504
where the hell does all your unwarranted confidence come from, though.
I've had a quick a look at your release (since i'll eventually be doing this show myself) and it's not anywhere near "the best. it's fucking terrible. shitty encode (why were you even reencoding raws in the first place when BDs and DVDs are available?), bad tsing, the timing is fucked and yes, that includes the sign timings. this release sure as hell wasn't qc'ed, that's for sure.
Admitting you did a sloppy job on it is nice and all, but why did you even release it in this state in the first place?
Since you're working on zoku right now, i'd suggest not releasing it anytime "soon" (as you announced). Doing a proper job on it without multiple encoders and typesetters should take you about a year at least.
But if you're fine with being just barely better than the worst release, maybe you should take some advice from your own release...
>>110938504
oh and yeah, reencodes must be marked as remakes. flagged.
