SHAFT does great reaction faces, which a Yotsuba adaptation would benefit from, but I don't think the overall SHAFT style would suit it. Dogakobo would be my pick, or maybe Silver Link.

Gainax actually. One of the things that Yotsuba is great is presenting a very real feeling world, the backgrounds and setting all feel they have weight. Having very grounded worlds is one of Gainax's best traits and one of the main things that Shaft absolutely fails at all the time.

Kyoani would be the best choice by far. They have only done shitty inbred LN adaptations after Hyouka, but that doesn't change the fact that their past adaptations were both loyal to the original works and had excellent production values. After seeing how they adaptated Nichijou, they shouldn't have any problems making Yotsubato.

Not him, but Yotsubato chapters usually cover a single event happening on a single day, and they are relatively short. Making an anime would require you to either pad the shit out of them or combine multiple chapters.
Hell, even Azuma said that an anime adaptation would have to screw up the pacing.

I agree he needs to get back on the horse/bicycle, him doing this last year was excusable because it was Yotsuba&!'s 10th anniversary, but now that's over & he should've resumed a (somewhat) normal release schedule.
KyoAni would probably do the best job, considering how well they adapted Nichijou's visual style. Dogakobo as a second choice, they could probably pull it off.
