Rance I is translated (the 2013 remake is untranslated. It has a translated digest version. Read the digest version after Sengoku
Rance II has a graphic updated version which is translated. Play it after I
Rance III and IV are translated. Play after II. They start expanding on the setting and are where the series starts getting good.
4.1 and 4.2 are translated short games.
Kichikuou Rance is the first epic game. It follows off from Rance IV but was later retconned. Translation patch will be out in a few months.
Rance 5D continues on from IV. It's 35% translated and in active translation.
Rance VI is the best in the series. Translation has just started.
Sengoku Rance is VII.
Rance Quest is VIII and is getting translated. Rance IX is the most recent game.
