Julian is trying to save the world, without using Erika as a grail. The only way of doing so requires him to obtain another one.

How do you feel about spoilers /a/?
I might be the only person who arms themselves with all the spoilers before jumping in. Before I watched Eva I had a decent understanding of the mechanics of instrumentality and getting tanged.
i used to avoid them at all costs to enjoy going in blind, but idgaf anymore really
Just finished this
It started giving me a serious Utena vibe at the end.
And what the hell was up with the penguins?
In Penguindrum the whole penguin thing is supposed to be a metaphor for not belonging. Penguins are birds but they do not fly. Penguins swim but are not fish. Penguins are outcasts.
Penguindrum is a show you watch once. Then you read an analysis. Then you watch it again. Then it makes... Somewhat more sense.
THE CHILD BROILER IS A FUCKING SHREDDER. SHREDDERS DO NOT BROIL. AND WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS THING? IS IT REAL? IS THAT JUST ANOTHER METAPHOR FOR ISOLATION AND THE...

Man, this guy must have some sort of secret power or something.
I bet once he activates it, he's a total badass.
He has the power to make
2ndbest girl see him as really good looking and cool
It's a joke
Mikumo (and his dynamic with Kuga) is the one reason why WT actually feels pretty novel sometimes.
He has no talent.
He's not special.
He has no secret trump card.
He's just a guy with a good personality, work ethic, and connections.
I really like that.
I just finished watching this series. Holy shit I was surprised how I enjoyed this series. Somehow I feel empty now that the series end.
Also K-on! thread
its time for checkup
A KonoSuba spin off gifting this wonderful world with explosions!
Megumin going to magic school edition.
Dumping the prologue here.
So why is it that everyone says the enemy could attack earth at basically any day, yet in order for the enemy to get to earth, they'd be going so fast that months will have passed before they actually arrived at earth? Noriko and Amano have to go near the speed of light, causing a fuck load of time to pass in mere minutes, but does the same not apply to the aliens?
Am I misunderstanding the concept of time dilation or is it the anime that's wrong?
The anime was very wrong. But in the anime the reason why so much time passes on the last episode is because something something the gravity of the black hole. Also it could also be assumed that the aliens generally had better technology, but were just lacking in guts.
The anime was full of problems. The ending that everyone loved so much can easily be destroyed when you realize that the people of Earth had no way to know exactly when she went into light speed. And just a couple seconds of miscalculation could be the difference of years in Earth time. Meaning all those people who stood outside to leave her a visible message would have had to stand there for 10-100 years in reality.
yamada saved the series
Less focus on Inami is what saved the series. And Yamada had the only bad episodes in the series.
Is it any good?
Wow, this movie really surpassed my expectations. It was all fighting and the production quality looked amazing. I really pity the people who watched this in 720p
the movie and the OVA can be found here in 1080p with english subs
