Is Ranma 1/2 the most influential anime/manga of all time? If it's not then what is?
Is she intelligent?
I just tried watching the first episode of Baccano. I could not for the life of me figure out what the fuck was supposed to be going on. I went to read a plot summary and suddenly it started making some kind of sense. But my first impression was that it was trying to substitute contextless ambiguity for depth. And dammit, the show should stand on its own.
Does it continue like that?
I had to watch the first episode 3 times before I could convince myself to keep going, and I ended up loving it.
It literally doesn't even attempt to be deep, it's just jazzy non linear fun.
What's the correct order to watch this in and why is it broadcast order?
For the first season, it's because the actual climax takes place in chronological episode six (The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Part Six). The other episodes, even though they take place chronologically after that, serve as rising action for the climax.
I've heard proposals that watching the entire series, including the movie, in chronological order preserves some aspect of the movie that is spoiled if you watch it in broadcast order.
Personally, watching the first season originally in broadcast order was amazing, way better than chronological.
Subbed or Dubbed?
I demand the anime industry start making all anime in 4k at 60fps OR ELSE!
Why would they bother when most people watch when it airs on tv? Most Japanese broadcast stations can't even do 720p justice, let alone 4k.
Also most of their audience has small televisions in cramped apartments that won't really benefit as much from the jump in resolution even if they owned 4k tvs. This is the same reason surround tracks are still less common in anime than western entertainment.
Give me a hug, anon.
You'd pass the chance to get real close to her?
GOD I'M LOVING THIS SHOW.
ITS JUST SO HEARTWARMING AND COMFY.
>positioned on a plain hilltop with no obstacle to hide behind
This is not a legit tactic even without the university team's Karl Gerät
Reminder that Erika reads these threads between masturbating to social media photos of the Nishizumi sisters, so be nice.
Why is this not as well liked as other KyoAni anime? I held off watching it for a while because of how indifferent everyone is about it, but now that I gave it a chance it's fucking great.
I'd put it in the top 3 KyoAni series I've ever watched. I'd say it's just as good as K-On for sure.
Are people just pissed off by SOL with hetero undertones? What's the deal?
Its not as simple and easy to follow as Love Story, and many people have said they didn't like Dera (though I loved him). It doesn't handhold you through a basic plot or anything. The main focus is heartwarming character interactions to show you the warm side of humanity, and I suppose that isn't enough substance for most people.
Its one of my favorite anime, easily.
it's like k-on, but k-on was carried by the character dynamics of after school tea time and the characters here... just aren't interesting. also didn't like the male characters when k-on was pretty much all girls except for rare, brief scenes
Do you Have an Idea to End His Suffering?
What makes her so perfect?
2016 doesn't look like it will bring anything that can top it.
New trailer for Pop in Q, Toei's upcoming magical dance anime. We see each of the five girls starting to fail and falter at their chosen fields, in track, life (?), piano, judo (?), and studying. But then with the tagline "Just by becoming a bit more honest, we can change the future", it ends on a hopeful note. All of the girls come from different schools, so it looks like they'll be brought together by this new power they find. And the character designs, of course, are by Kuroboshi Kouhaku.
Puck is a girl and there's literally nothing you can do to convince me otherwise.
