i'm only a casual anime viewer. i'm curious what /a/ thinks of k-on! how does it stack up against other slice of life shows or other shows in general?
We're told she used to be a cold, harsh King, who sacrificed entire villages if that's what it took to save the kingdom. We're told she was a flawless, untouchable ruler, and that her knights couldn't understand her and thought her incapable of emotions. If all that were true, Saber would actually be a neat character, but the Saber we actually meet is nothing like that.
